Description of the promotion
Cashback of $250 following the opening of a business bank account and the addition of certain services and transactions (see below).
Basic eligibility conditions
- Open a business bank account and sign up for our Digital Business Package during the promotion period.
- Sign up for our online banking services within 60 days of opening the account.
- Make a deposit to the account within 60 days of opening it.
Payment of cashback
If all terms and conditions of the promotion are met, the cashback will be paid into the new business account no later than 4 months after it is opened.
Other conditions
- This promotion is intended for businesses that do not have a bank account at National Bank and have not had one within the past 12 months.
- This promotion may not be combined with any other promotion applicable to business bank accounts. However, it may be combined with a promotion applicable to credit cards or an eligible promotion applicable to other business products offered by National Bank.
- This promotion is not retroactive.
- The new business bank account must remain in good standing for 4 months after it is opened, in accordance with the conditions set out in the Agreement for Business Banking. For example, any monthly fees on the account must be paid.
- The business must keep the required products and services selected for at least 12 months. If this condition is not met, it will have to refund a portion of the cashback received in proportion to the term remaining.
- The promotion may be modified, extended or cancelled at any time, without prior notice.

2. Electronic transactions are transactions carried out in Canadian dollars at our ABMs, a participating merchant, through our online banking services or those related to certain operations in your account. The Around-the-Clock Depository Service is no longer considered electronic transactions.
3. You must be signed up for our online banking services.
4. A compatible scanner must be purchased separately at the client’s expense.
5. To use the Interac e-Transfer® service, you must be signed up for online banking services. Funds must be transferred to a bank account held at a participating Canadian financial institution. If you exceed the transfer limit specified in your package, a service charge of $1.50 may apply when sending money by Interac e-Transfer.
6. Assisted transactions are carried out with a representative in the branch, through the Around-the-Clock Depository Service or through the issuing of a cheque.
7. To make an application for an online account, you must have online access to an active personal account at a Canadian financial institution. If so, we will identify you and begin the process of opening your online bank account. Please note, however, that we will not be able to finalize the account opening online. An expert will contact you within 1 to 2 business days to confirm your identity, assess your needs and activate your account. You will then need to visit a branch to pick up your debit card.
