Connecting with Indigenous communities

Building trusting relationships with Indigenous communities across Canada

Our commitment to a more inclusive future

We maintain close ties to Indigenous peoples, including clients, colleagues, and communities.

We support the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action 92 for Canadian businesses.

We believe the business community plays a key role in societal progress, and we feel privileged to be able to contribute to this goal.

Among our initiatives, we work alongside several organizations that promote the development of Indigenous communities:

Right to Play

Aims to improve access to community-led, culturally relevant play-based programs.

Winnipeg Art Gallery

Contributes to promoting Inuit art.

National Arts Centre Foundation

UQAT Foundation

"As the Indigenous Peoples Segment Leader at the bank, I am deeply committed to building meaningful relationships with Indigenous peoples. At National Bank, we strive to ensure that our initiatives not only support economic growth but also honour the cultural heritage and values of the Indigenous communities.”
