Signing up for online banking for business

View the steps you need to take to access your online business banking services following the migration to National Bank.

Get started with your online business banking services

Your online banking for business platform is the main source for your account information. Manage your business banking anytime, anywhere, using your web browser or National Bank app.  

 

You must complete a few steps before the migration weekend to ensure uninterrupted access for your users after they sign in for the first time. Make sure you have all the required information before you begin.


Make sure you have the information you need before enrolling online

Within a week of receiving your migration letters and guides (one or more, depending on your profile), the persons chosen to manage your business banking accounts will receive the following communications to begin the enrollment process.

You’ll receive an email from communications@contact.bnc.ca with information about the enrollment process, as well as details on the services available to help you complete the setup. the enrollment process, as well as details on the services available to help you complete the setup.

User ID and temporary password

You’ll also receive your sign-in credentials, including a user ID by email from nepasrepondre@notifications.bnc.ca, as well as a text message from the phone number 262258 containing your temporary password. If you don’t have a cellphone number on file, follow the instructions provided in the email to access your business account.

Online Banking Enrollment Guide – Business

You’ll receive an email from dse_NA3@docusign.net with a DocuSign® containing the Online Banking Enrollment Guide – Business. This guide explains the migration of online business banking services, as well as the steps needed to complete your enrollment.

  • Mail

SecurID® token and wire transfer instructions

If applicable, you may also receive a package by mail containing a SecurID® token and wire transfer instructions. This physical security token is required to sign in, approve wire transfers, and order additional tokens for other users within your business.

Before starting your online enrollment, make sure you have received all of the items listed above. If you or any of your designated users have not received their sign-in credentials by October 21, 2026, contact National Bank at 1-844-394-4494 (toll-free), Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (ET).
