You'll receive key documents regarding the migration of your banking products and services.

Important security notice

Remember to protect your personal banking information such as verification codes, your PIN, and password at all times. National Bank® or Laurentian Bank® will never ask for your personal banking information. Only use official communications from National Bank and Laurentian Bank for information about the migration. Stay vigilant for potentially fraudulent communications.


Migration letters

Starting September 28, 2026, you'll receive migration letters by mail. They outline key dates, as well as any actions you may need to take during the migration of your banking products and services from Laurentian Bank to National Bank.

This letter contains important information concerning the migration of your investment products from LBC Financial Services Inc. (LBCFS) to National Bank Savings and Investments Inc. (NBSI).


Migration guides

These guides help you understand the details of the migration of your current banking products from Laurentian Bank to National Bank. If you have consented to electronic communications, this guide is emailed to you (via Docusign®) from the following address: dse_NA3@docusign.net. Otherwise, it will be enclosed with your migration letter sent starting September 28, 2026.

Letter concerning your debit card

Mid-October 2026

If you currently have an active Laurentian Bank debit card or are eligible for a National Bank debit card, you'll receive your National Bank debit card by mail. You'll also receive your personal identification number (PIN) in a separate envelope.

 

A new debit card is not issued if you already have an active National Bank debit card.

Communications regarding your credit card

Your Laurentian Bank credit card remains functional during and after the migration weekend from November 6 to 8, 2026.

 

You can continue using your credit card as usual, as well as access your account through the Laurentian Bank credit card portal. More information about your credit card, including timelines, terms and conditions, and actions to take, will be communicated at a later date.

 

Paying your credit card after November 8

 

If you want to pay your Laurentian Bank credit card through your online bank, you must add "Laurentian Bank Visa" as a supplier under the "Bills" tab. Watch our demo.

For help using your personal Laurentian Bank credit card, contact Laurentian Bank at 1‑800‑252‑1846.

Make sure your contact information is up to date

Update your contact information with Laurentian Bank, including your phone number, email, and mailing address to ensure you receive important communications regarding the migration. You can do so online, by phone, or at your Laurentian Bank branch.

Checklist sent by email

If you have consented to electronic communications, we'll send you a checklist by email from the address communications@contact.bnc.ca to remind you of the actions you should take to prepare for the migration. If you do not consent to electronic communications, you can refer to our webpage to see the list of steps you need to follow.
