What will happen to my Laurentian Bank credit card after the migration to National Bank?

Your Laurentian Bank credit card will not be affected by the migration weekend and will remain operational during and after the migration weekend.

Additional information about your credit card, including timeframes, terms and conditions, as well as actions to be taken, will be provided to you in due course.

To make the transition easier, we recommend that you keep your Laurentian Bank credit card account open until you receive new instructions from National Bank. If you close it before you receive the instructions, it cannot be transferred to a National Bank credit card.

To pay your Laurentian Bank credit card via National Bank’s online bank after your bank account has been migrated, you must update your payment information, adding “Laurentian Bank Visa” as the biller or supplier.

If you have set up a pre-authorized debit to pay your credit card balance and the bank account linked to that debit is a Laurentian Bank account, you’ll need to update your banking information with the details of your National Bank account.

To learn how to update your payment information, we have a demo for personal banking clients and business clients.
