How do I delete an account group?
To delete an account group in online banking for business, make sure you have :
- The Manage account groups permission and the associated rights to View and Delete (If you need to approve the deletion of an account group, you also need the Approve and Self-Approved rights)
- The Manage legal entities permission and the associated right to View
- Removed the account group from the user.
To delete an account group :
Important : If you are in a business group, you must select the service agreement starting with "**" to choose a business group (main entity and other entities), since an action made to the main entity will not apply to all the entities who are part of the business group.
- Sign in to online banking for business.
- In the left menu under Administration, click Manage access.
- Select the Account group tab.
- Click the trash can icon (Delete) next to the account group you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- Deleting an account group requires one or more approvals. Approvers will receive a notification alerting them to approve the deletion of the account group.
Good to know
- Accounts in a deleted account group continue to exist.
- The Self-approved right allows a user to approve a task that they initiated.
