What will happen to my Laurentian Bank debit card during and after the migration to National Bank?

If you are eligible for a National Bank debit card, you will receive a new one by mail, along with a separate letter containing your Personal Identification Number (PIN). You can change your PIN at any time.

Your Laurentian Bank debit card will be deactivated as of 4 p.m. (ET) on November 6, 2026. After that time, you will no longer be able to access your accounts using a Laurentian Bank debit card at an ABM or make debit card transactions. Your personal Laurentian Bank credit card will not be affected by the migration weekend and will remain operational during and after.

Starting on November 9, 2026, you will be able to activate your National Bank debit card and access your accounts using the PIN sent to you by mail. You will be able to activate your debit card by making a first transaction with a merchant terminal using the PIN you received or at an ABM.
