How do I get more details about a transaction in my online bank?

  1. Sign in to your online bank and click on Overview in the left menu. 
  2. Select the account you are interested in.  
  3. Click on the Transactions tab and select a transaction to view its details. 


You’ll see the following information: 

  • Name of vendor 
  • Transaction amount 
  • Name of account used 
  • Account balance after this transaction  
  • Category (you can change it, at your discretion)  
  • Comments (you can add personal notes)  
  • Name of the person who made the transaction (for an account with co-holders) 


Please note that the National Bank app will not display transaction details. 


To view the details of a bill payment, click on Bills in the left-hand menu, and on the Payment history tab.
