Visit the National Bank Lounge® at Montreal-Trudeau Airport when you travel and enjoy a comfortable setting to work or relax while waiting for your international flight.

You can enjoy free access to our National Bank Lounge® with a guest and two children aged 12 or under.

National Bank World Elite® Mastercard® cardholders get free access.

There is an entrance fee for non-World Elite® Mastercard® card-holding clients, but at a 25% discount off the current rate.*  

There is no limit on the number of visits per year. 

Practical information

  • Currently open from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week (these hours may vary according to the anticipated traffic at the airport).
  • Located near Gate 53.
  • Accessible only to passengers flying to destinations outside of Canada and the United States and boarding in the international area.

Little details that matter

National Bank World Elite® Mastercard® cardholders can access the National Bank Lounge by presenting their physical credit card and boarding pass at the entrance. Clients who are traveling internationally (outside of Canada and the United States) have access to the National Bank Lounge. Clients can only enter the lounge within three hours of their flight’s departure time.

National Bank clients who are not World Elite® Mastercard® cardholders can also access the lounge while enjoying a 25% discount on these rates:


  • $63.24 taxes included for adults (excluding discount)

  • $40.24 taxes included for children aged 2 to 12 (excluding discount)

  • Free for children under 2 years old


The entrance fee is subject to change without notice and is the responsibility of the lounge operator.

Due to the current situation, new measures have been put in place to meet the requirements of health authorities: 

  • Hand sanitizing stations have been added. 
  • All surfaces are sanitized frequently. 
  • Meals included: buffet service offered to all members.  
  • Drinks included: Guests may order alcoholic beverages from the Lounge staff. Non-alcoholic beverages are still available in self-service. 

Duration of the welcome promotion

May 13, 2024, to August 15, 2024.

Eligibility conditions

  • Apply for a National Bank World Elite® Mastercard® credit card as the primary cardholder during the promotion period.

  • Have not held a personal National Bank Mastercard credit card during the past 24 months. 

  • Keep the credit card account open until the rewards points are paid.

  • Keep the account in good standing while complying with the conditions in the Credit Card Agreement, until the rewards points are paid. For example, all minimum payments must be made on time.

  • Not be employed by National Bank or an entity in its group.

*To apply for payment insurance, you must complete the Credit Card Payment Protection Plan (CCPP) section in the credit card application form.

**The purchase calculation period starts on the date you sign up for the card. For example, if you sign up for the card on June 15, you have until September 15 to make the required purchases to receive the points which will be credited to your account by the end of December 2024.

How the total purchase amount is calculated

The calculation uses the total purchases charged for all cards linked to the account. Transactions that are not included in the calculation are set out under section 1.5 of the A la carte Rewards Plan®.

Other conditions

  • You can only benefit from the promotion once.

  • The credit card is issued subject to credit approval by National Bank. Other conditions apply to the issue of the card.

  • The promotion may not be combined with any other promotion or offer applicable to National Bank credit cards and cannot be applied retroactively.

  • This promotion may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice.

No interest will be charged on purchases made during the month, provided the client pays the balance in full within twenty-one (21) days of the statement date. This grace period does not apply to cash advances or balance transfers. Minimum payment: If your account balance is lower than $10, you must pay the entire balance. If you reside in the province of Quebec, your minimum payment will correspond to 5% of the credit card account balance plus any overdue payment or $10, whichever amount is higher.
