Three options to protect your business against overdrafts

The Business Overdraft Limit

Our Business Overdraft Limit lets you prepare your business for the unexpected, from cash shortfalls to temporary financing needs. Funds are transferred automatically and immediately to cover insufficient funds.

  • Limits range from $1,000 to $10,000.
  • Automatic daily disbursements and reimbursements, depending on the availability of funds.
  • Fast set-up: Once your limit has been approved, overdraft protection will be effective within 24–48 hours.

A Business Investment Account or current account

When you sign up for overdraft protection, funds will be automatically transferred from another Business Investment Account1 or current account1 to cover overdrafts. That way, your cash reserves can be put to good use.

A National Bank Mastercard credit card for businesses

In addition to letting you make daily purchases, National Bank's Mastercard® solutions offer overdraft protection when you link a Mastercard Business Card1 to your current account.
