Once your GIC application for international students has been issued, you'll receive a Letter of Attestation – Investment Directions Confirmation via secure email. This will confirm that your wire transfer was received and that your funds were deposited into your bank account. Note that this is the confirmation that you'll need to send to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to apply for the Student Direct Stream program. An account statement will then be issued and mailed to you within 30 days, free of charge.
