I’ve lost my debit card. What now?

If your debit card has been lost, stolen or misused, you can temporarily lock or cancel it. Here's how:

From the National Bank app:

  1. Sign in to the National Bank app.
  2. Click Menu at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Then, click My cards.
  4. Under your credit card, click Lock to temporarily lock your card.
  5. Or click Manage, then on Lost or stolen card to receive a new one in the mail.
  6. Follow the instructions.

From your web browser:

  1. Sign in to your online bank.
  2. On your home page, select your Chequing account in the My accounts section.
  3. Below your debit card image, click Manage my card.
  4. Click Lock to temporarily lock your card or click Lost or stolen card to cancel it.

If your card has been cancelled we'll send you a new one by mail to the address on file.
