My National Bank Mastercard credit card is lost or stolen. What now?

If your National Bank Mastercard® credit card has been lost or stolen, you can temporarily lock or cancel it yourself to prevent any fraudulent transactions.

From the National Bank app:

  1. Sign in to the National Bank app.
  2. Click Menu at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Then, click My cards.
  4. Under your credit card, click Lock to temporarily lock your card.
  5. Or click Manage, then on Lost or stolen card to receive a new one in the mail.
  6. Follow the instructions.

From your web browser:

  1. Sign in to your online bank.
  2. Click Overview in the menu, then select your credit card.
  3. Click Lock or cancel my card and then follow the steps.

If you lock your credit card, you’ll no longer be able to complete any transactions with it. You also won’t be able to use it if you request a replacement card.
