Changes in effect for corporate file transfers

We have integrated the services provided by the Corporate Files Transfer (CFT) platform into online banking for business.

You are now able to enjoy a simplified experience, for instance :

  • You no longer need to sign in to the CFT platform for your transfers. Only one sign-in to online banking for business will be necessary.
  • You now have access to unlimited downloads and a report history that will gradually build up to 7 years.
  • Access to reports will replace faxing in the coming months.

Please take note of the following changes to the file types and report names.

Changes in the types of files that can be uploaded by HTTPS

Upload of compressed files (i.e. ZIP files) is no longer supported

To maximize efficiency, uploading compressed files is no longer available, including in the ZIP format.

Here are some recommended alternatives

  • If you’re using the Acomba software, and you’re an ACCEO customer, your file format will be automatically changed upon upload from .zip to .txt. You don't have to take any action.

For questions or additional support, please contact ACCEO’s customer service team.

  • If you’re not an ACCEO customer, you can change the format of your file to (txt). Furthermore, we invite you to upload your files separately, without compressing them. If you do business with another accounting software provider, they can help you make the change.

End of concatenated files

To improve the clarity and accuracy of data management, we no longer accept concatenated files. It is important to submit each file separately to ensure more efficient processing and traceability.

If you do business with another accounting software provider, they can help you make the change.

What is a concatenated file and how do I verify if I’m currently sending this type of file?

A concatenated file is when multiple files or datasets are merged into a single continuous file.

Changes in the types of files transmitted from one system to another (SFTP)

End of option to approve files transmitted via SFTP through CFT

The approval of files transmitted via SFTP through CFT is no longer available.

Here is a recommended alternative

You can upload your files through online banking for business, and then approve them.

Information for Technicost customers who use the automated procedure with the Express Web Transactions application and who approve files on the CFT platform

There are two options available to you :

  1. Maintain the automatic file submission procedure : no-approval submissions are now possible through online banking for business.
  2. Switch from the automatic to the manual procedure and send your files to be approved in online banking for business. Please contact the Technicost customer service to make this change.

Changes to reports

Standardization of the nomenclature

To help improve the clarity and efficiency of our communications, we have standardized the nomenclature of report names in online banking for business. This update makes it easier to identify and access information that is relevant to you.

The date and time are now automatically added to all report names, and there is no longer a sequence number. For example :
