What should I do if I suspect I’ve been contacted by scammers during the migration to National Bank?
National Bank and Laurentian Bank will not contact you or send someone to visit you in person to ask for your personal banking information (verification code, PIN, password).
If someone contacts you claiming to represent National Bank or Laurentian Bank:
- Don’t share any of your personal information.
- Ask for details about the person contacting you.
- Let them know that you will verify the information they’ve provided.
- End the conversation.
- Contact Laurentian Bank before the migration date through one of its trusted contact numbers and contact National Bank after the migration.
