How do I change the authentication method from a SecurID token to password?

To change a user's authentication method, you must be an administrator or an authorized user with a SecurID token access.

You must also remove user access to wire transfers, since a user without a SecurID token cannot use this feature.

Then follow these steps :

  1. Sign in to online banking for business.
  2. From the home page under Administration, click Manage access.
  3. Select the Users and permissions ab.
  4. Enter the user’s name, family name or user code in the search bar, then select the user.
  5. Click Change permissions.
  6. If the user has access to wire transfers, remove access, otherwise, continue to the next step :
    • Click Manage other permissions.
    • Select Wires from the dropdown menu.
    • Uncheck the signature permission, then click Confirm.
  7. Click Change the authentication method.
  8. Under the Authentication section, select With password.
  9. In the Token status section, choose one of these two reasons:
    • Token returned
    • Token lost or not returned
  10. Click Confirm.
  11. Send the user the temporary password that appears on the screen.
