How do I change the authentication method from a SecurID token to password?
To change a user's authentication method, you must be an administrator or an authorized user with a SecurID token access.
You must also remove user access to wire transfers, since a user without a SecurID token cannot use this feature.
Then follow these steps :
- Sign in to online banking for business.
- From the home page under Administration, click Manage access.
- Select the Users and permissions ab.
- Enter the user’s name, family name or user code in the search bar, then select the user.
- Click Change permissions.
- If the user has access to wire transfers, remove access, otherwise, continue to the next step :
- Click Manage other permissions.
- Select Wires from the dropdown menu.
- Uncheck the signature permission, then click Confirm.
- Click Manage other permissions.
- Click Change the authentication method.
- Under the Authentication section, select With password.
- In the Token status section, choose one of these two reasons:
- Token returned
- Token lost or not returned
- Token returned
- Click Confirm.
- Send the user the temporary password that appears on the screen.
