Navigation and available features

  • Discover our optimized account summary and our main menu, which includes all the features linked to your profile. Visit our Discover home page and navigation menu features page to explore the features we offer.
  • You can also download our National Bank app.

 

Transactions

  • Online transactions are now easier than ever. Visit our Business help centre's Accounts & Transactions section or watch our demos on managing payees, making payments, sending money with Interac e-Transfer®, approving transactions, and utilizing notifications and alerts.

 

Rights and permissions

  • As part of managing your business, you can delegate certain tasks to users, as specified in the business banking agreement. For a clearer understanding of user rights and permissions, please refer to our What are the different types of users in online banking for business page.
  • As an administrator, you can manage a user's access by assigning job roles, permissions, and, if necessary, account groups. Watch our video or consult our guide First steps for giving access to a new user to get up to speed with these concepts.
  • You can send on the New user guide to your users to help them get started with online banking for business.

 

Information on self-approval

  • You can now self-approve in online banking for business for the following actions:
    • Manage account groups
    • Manage job roles
    • Manage permissions
    • Manage self-approvals
    • Manage approvals for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
    • Manage approvals for Payment File Option
  • Authorized users can therefore set the approval levels needed to perform an action.
  • The right to self-approve will be automatically granted to you and your authorized users.
  • The number of signatures required to approve an action remains the same.
  • If your organization requires a single signature upon approval, administrators and authorized users will be able to approve the tasks they have initiated themselves.
