This guide has been designed to facilitate the transition from the Corporate File Transfer (CFT) platform to online banking for business.

Reason for the transition
A file transfer that was previously done via HTTPS on the Corporate File Transfer (CFT) platform, as well as the download of your reports, will soon be available in online banking for business. With a single access, you will be able to make transactions,manage the upload of your files and the download of your reports.

Simplified management of file transfers
Enjoy a modern and simpler experience for uploading your files from our online banking services.
Download reports
- Manage your documents effortlessly and more quickly.
- You'll have access to a few months of report history with unlimited downloads. The report history can accumulate up to a 7-year period.
- This excludes reports sent by fax today. In the coming months, access to reports in online banking for business will replace faxing.
- If you would like to change the way your reports are received now, contact our customer service.
Approval process
With customizable options and a clean interface, you'll be able to easily review, approve, or reject uploaded files. Note that this feature only applies to EFT file transfers and the Payment file option, 1 minimum approval required.
Transition schedule
As of fall 2024:
- Beginning of the modernization of certain screens in online banking for business.
- Deployment of the new file transfer feature.
- Availability of report downloads in online banking for business.
- Availability of the file transfers feature in online banking for business.
- Start of the user creation period (if required) and gain access to download reports and transfer files.
Important
While we are attempting to meet this transition schedule for the change of operations from the CFT platform to online banking for business, the dates are subject to change.
Migration of existing administrators and access rights
Administrators in online banking for business will automatically receive the following rights*:
- The File transfer job role with file transfer and download report permissions for company products.
- The File transfer identifier group account group with credentials (issuer number) with file transfer or download report permissions for company products.
*As per the Agreement for Business Banking
Actions required if you are an administrator
As an administrator in online banking for business, you have the Admin type A, B, C, and File transfer job roles.

- Modify the approval policy as needed to determine the number and level of approvals required.

We now offer you the ability to manage approvals yourself in online banking for business with the following actions:
- Manage account groups
- Manage job roles
- Manage permissions
- Manage self-approvals
- Manage approvals for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Manage approvals for File Option Payments
Administrators and authorized users can therefore set the approval levels needed to perform an action.
Information on the self-approved feature
- The self-approved feature will be automatically available to you and your authorized users.
- The number of signatures required to approve an action remains in effect.
- If your organization requires a single signature during approval, administrators and authorized users will be able to self-approve the tasks they initiate.
Important information about your accounts
Note that administrators and authorized users can grant themselves rights to other accounts in your company's profile. You can change these rights at any time if you want to restrict access to certain users.
Actions required if you are an authorized user
As an authorized user in online banking for business, you have Admin type B and C job roles.
- Update your access and that of your users:
- You can assign yourself the file transfer job role and the file transfer credential account group.
- You can also create a job role and an account group that has specific credentials.
Note that at least one approval will be required to complete the assignment of your rights. Consult our guide on how new users can update files and download reports.
