How do I activate the automatic deposit of funds received by Interac e-Transfer?

Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit allows you to choose which bank account to automatically deposit transfers received by email or text.

 

You will no longer need to answer a security question to accept transfers each time you receive one. 

 

You will get a confirmation each time you receive a transfer. 

 

To activate the feature:

 

From your online bank:

 

  1. Click on the profile icon at the top right of the screen 
  2. Select the Preferences tab
  3. Select Manage Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit
  4. Click Add to set up Autodeposit

From your National Bank app:

  1. Expand the menu in the top left corner and select My Preferences.
  2. Select Manage Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit 
  3. Click Add to set up Autodeposit

You can add up to 5 emails or mobile numbers per profile. An email address or mobile number can only be associated with one bank account whether with  National Bank or another financial institution. 

 

To unsubscribe from Autodeposit, simply delete your existing email or mobile number setup.
